VTG 1985 USSR Soviet Wooden Mushroom Figures Peg Dolls Basket Beriozka Ryzhik
Up for sale is a charming, authentic piece of Soviet history. This vintage 1985 hand-painted folk art souvenir set features 5 wooden peg doll "mushrooms" nestled together in a turned wooden display basket.The set is titled "Ryzhiki" (Рыжики), named after the Saffron Milk Cap forest mushroom.
The colorful, retro faces are exceptionally well-painted with great detail.
Label & Provenance Details: The bottom features the original paper factory labels completely intact
Stamped production date of 1985.Manufactured by the Moscow Furniture Factory located at B. Ordynka 14 under the Mosgorispolkom administration.
Features the original "BERIOZKA" (Березка) export shop sticker, indicating it was originally purchased at the luxury, hard-currency hard-to-access tourist shops in the USSR.
Stamped state price: 2 Rubles, 60 Kopecks.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear. Colors remain bright and vibrant.
