Up for sale is a beautiful 5-piece antique Art Deco Japanese lusterware sandwich or dessert set dating from the 1920s to 1930s. The set features a striking, hand-painted Chinoiserie landscape scene complete with an orange-roofed pagoda, rolling green hills, and stylized trees. The edges are finished in a vibrant sea-blue/teal glaze with an iridescent metallic luster sheen typical of the era. What’s Included: 1 Rectangular Master Serving Platter with Handles 4 Matching Octagonal Dessert / Snack Plates Markings: Stamped simply "Made in Japan" on the bottom (dates the set precisely between 1921 and 1941).
