Vintage 1984 CN Foltz Pennsylvania Redware Pottery Chicken Up for sale or purchase is a beautiful, authentic piece of contemporary American traditional folk art redware. Handcrafted by famed Pennsylvania potters Cynthia and Ned Foltz at their studio in Reinholds, PA. This round plate features a vibrant, deep blue glazed background contrasting with a slip-trailed terracotta-colored chicken silhouette at the center. The piece features a traditional unglazed red clay base and a distinct crimped "coggle" edge rim profile. Markings on Back: Hand-signed "C N Foltz PA 1984" along with the Official Workshop TULIP Stamp imprint. Measurements & Specs: Diameter: 7.5" Condition: Excelllent vintage pre-owned condition.
