1961-L E Smith Glass Azure "Moon and Stars" Compote or Candy Dish
Moon and Stars motif features raised circular "moons" w/ concave multi-pointed starburst accents. This design originated in the late 19th century by Adams & Co under the name "The Palace" pattern. The candy dish piece has no chips, cracks or call outs. The lid is gorgeous-see pictures...the rim is SO unique. There is some flea bites and there are 2 small chips on the inside of the lid rim-not seen on the outside. There are no signatures or makers marks. This measures approx 8"H w/ lid on and the diameter is approx 6", 3 Lbs. I do not know if it is UV reactive. This will ship alone.
