Vintage Mikasa New Avenues Free Spirit Platter & Plate Cover/ Veggie Bowl 1980’s

This is a Mikasa New Avenues Free Spirit PT804 vegetable bowl or plate cover and 12” platter. The tan ceramic pieces feature distinctive white trim rings and a stepped, domed lid with a central knob. It is part of the "Free Spirit" pattern and is designed to function either as a standalone vegetable bowl or as a protective cover for a dinner plate to keep food warm.

Designed by Helena Uglow, the pattern was produced from 1983 to 1987.

They are 2 rare pieces and in excellent condition.
