This is a molded iridescent glass bowl featuring embossed iris blossoms against a fine herringbone textured ground, finished with a beaded rim. It displays a warm marigold carnival glass luster with reflective metallic tones. No chips or cracks

The Iris and Herringbone pattern was produced by the Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Originally introduced in 1928 and made into the 1930s as clear depression glass, the company later produced it with this marigold iridescent finish, primarily in the 1950s and 1960s to capitalize on the renewed popularity of carnival glass. Jeannette Glass was a prolific American manufacturer known for everyday pressed tableware. Today, these pieces remain popular collectibles due to their vivid luster and distinct botanical relief
