Signed Antique MZ Austria Hand Painted 8 1/2" Oriental-Themed Plate
Beautiful scene of bird on a branch with pink blossoms. Signed by artist TP. Gilman. Measured 8 1/2" in diameter. Gold rim shows very little wear. No chips or cracks. Makers mark shows plate was produced by Moritz Zdekauer on porcelains made in Altrohlau, Austria between the years of 1884-1909 - by this time, the company had been making pottery since 1810 and had begun manufacturing porcelain beginning in 1836.
