Set of 3 Royal Tara Bone China Book of Kells Footed Irish Coffee/ Tea mugs

These are vintage Royal Tara Celtic Illuminative Art footed mugs from the discontinued Book of Kells pattern Made in Galway, Ireland by Royal Tara Giftware. The company was founded in 1953 and went out of business in 2003.Design: Made from high-quality fine bone china decorated with vibrant, zoomorphic Celtic knotwork and illuminated letters. Each mug in this specific collector series features a unique, heavily stylized Celtic monogram letter modeled after those found in the 9th-century Book of Kells manuscript. The mugs are trimmed in gold gilt along the top rim and bottom foot. They stand approximately 4.25 inches tall and are characterized by a unique decorative harp-shaped handle One has a very small chip on the rim as shown in the last picture
