A Thing of Beauty Vintage Finds
@athingofbeautyvintage
Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here. I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them. Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours. Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items. Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia

EAPG Antique Green Glass Toothpick Holders Colorado / Lacy Medallion Pattern w Gold Set of 2 - Souvenir Dayton, Ohio Detroit - USA
Stunning antique green glass EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) mini cauldron toothpick holders. Made in the early 1900s. One is in the "Colorado" or "Lacy Medallion" pattern (both names are used interchangeably) and one has a decorative edge and bottom. Both are souvenir glass (this was a "thing" in the early 1900s to go somewhere and get a piece of glass personalized to memorialize your trip.) The Colorado one has the original owners name, Dayton OH Fair and the date 1911 engraved. The other is marked with a first name and "Detroit, 1908." These can also be used as votive holders with a battery operated tea light. Size: largest is approx 2.75" h x 2.5" w, other is slightly smaller. Condition: Both have some minor wear on the gold trim as you would expect for something this age. Other than that no chips, cracks etc. The larger one has a line on the bowl in one place, I believe this is a straw mark from manufacture. You can feel it on the outside but not the inside so it's not a crack. Shipping: Flat discount USPS ground advantage insured to save you shipping $$. Message me prior to purchase if you need expedited or priority shipping. 💲Want it for less? Use my code ATHING93 for $5 off your first purchase (good in any NikNax shop.) Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is. I find unique vintage items and offer them to you, the beholder. Have you found your thing of beauty?
