Watt Pottery Rooster Pattern Covered Dish-Stoneware

This was produced in Crooksville, Ohio. It is highly recognizable for its distinct deep cream glaze paired with hand-painted folk art roosters rendered in bold deep red and green brushstrokes. Minimalist blades of grass also featured. These are hand painted and each piece varies in appearance because of this. No makers mark. It is in great condition. It does have crazing. The only discoloration within the crazing is on the inside bottom of the bowl and it is minimal. It has minor flea bites-especially on the rim on base and lid-please refer to pictures.
