Vintage Mid-Century 8 1/2" Flocked Reindeer Buck

The buck is depicted in a standing position, alert and looking slightly to its left. Realistic, stylized athletic posture typical of 1960s - 1970s holiday decor. It is covered in a soft, velour-like tan or caramel brown flocking material. The flocking transitions into darker shaded accents around the muzzle, top of head and lower legs. It has dark, glossy inset amber eyes that catch the light, large pointed ears, and a molded black nose and mouth. Crowning its head is a large, elaborate set of branching brown faux-bois (wood grain) plastic antlers with fine point detailing and are completely intact. Excellent structural condition. There are two small, less than pea-sized bald spots where the underlying plastic is exposed. This wear is consistent with standard handling and storage age for pieces over 50 years old. He is very lightweight.
