Vtg Carlton Ware Ceramic Russian Chess Ashtray MCM British Pottery Gold Edge

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Carlton Ware square ceramic ashtray featuring a striking, highly detailed "Russian Chess" motif. Produced in England during the mid-century era, this piece showcases stylized chessmen on a checkered board, accented with elegant gold-gilded trim along the rim and cigarette wells.

Because Carlton Ware is a classic British pottery brand, these pieces are highly sought after and rarely found already located within the United States. Skip the high international shipping rates and long transit times by purchasing directly from a domestic US seller!
