Vintage Walther & Sohne Topaz-Violet Cloud Glass Centerpiece Bowl Uranium Glass
This gorgeous August Walther & Sohne centerpiece bowl is part of their Oralit range of cloud glass called Malachit. Features violet trails on a green glass base. The entire bowl will fluoresce intensely under a UV lamp. This large three-footed bowl has a smooth interior with an intricate molded rimmed edge. The underside, including the feet are a frosted glass finish. Made in Germany by Walther and Sohne of Radeberg, dating roughly to the 1930s - 1940s. Often found without its centerpiece, which was likely a pelican. Measures approximately 12.5" in diameter x 3.5" high. As this is a vintage piece, it has some slight traces of wear such as small chips on the feet and light scratches to inner bowl, but overall it can be considered as in excellent original condition and ready to become a spectacular piece in your home.
