Stunning antique Northwood Aqua Opal Rose Show Carnival Glass Ruffled Bowl. Advertised in a 1913 trade catalog, it's a highly collectible pattern. Every detail is perfectly crafted to offer timeless artistic grandeur, making this piece an exquisite addition to your collection. Three large, highly detailed roses in great relief form the center of the bowl. Leaves and rose buds surround the roses. It has a strong aqua-hued center with wonderful pastel opalescent luster that glows with an iridescent yellow lime green and touches of pink and purple, providing a dazzling focal point. The exterior of the bowl carries a design called Woven Wonver, a type of basketweave. The edge treatment is 8 ruffle. Smooth scalloped edges. It measures approximately 8.75" in diameter x 2.75" high. In very good pre-owned condition. Each ruffle edge that dips down has some light wear appearing like dark lines. The exterior underside has some scratches (see last picture). No chips or cracks.
