Vintage Teal Art Glass Vase Freeform Blown Glass Sculptural Ruffled Vase

Beautiful vintage hand-formed art glass vase in a rich teal/aqua blue-green color. This substantial piece features an unusual sculptural freeform design with thick, flowing glass folds and ruffled ribbon-like details surrounding the body and rim.

The glass contains numerous tiny bubbles and natural variations that add wonderful texture and character. At nearly 4 pounds, this is an exceptionally heavy and substantial piece for its compact size and displays beautifully from every angle. It works equally well as a functional vase or as a standalone piece of sculptural art glass.

The maker is unknown and the piece is unsigned. Based on the style and construction, I estimate this piece dates to the 1970s.

Condition: Vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. The underside has a rough pontil area with irregular chipping/roughness surrounding the pontil scar.
