Vintage Hand Blown Clear Glass Crown Flower Frog Flower Arranger

Beautiful vintage clear glass crown flower frog / flower arranger featuring an unusual sculptural design with looping glass prongs that form a crown around the top.

The openings between the individually formed glass loops are designed to hold and position flower stems, while the lower vessel holds water. The dramatic crown-like construction also makes this a beautiful standalone piece of vintage art glass.

The glass displays characteristics consistent with hand-worked glass construction, including variations among the individually formed loops. The underside has a thick, smooth recessed/finished center consistent with a finished pontil area.

No maker’s mark, signature or label was found. Maker and country of origin are unknown. Based on the construction and styling, this piece is estimated to date to approximately the 1950s–1960s; exact age is unknown.
