Vintage Polished Stone Madonna And Child Statue 8.5 Inch

This is a really interesting figure and very stylized. Age and origin are unknown. It could be made of marble, but I'm not sure, so listing as stone. Beautiful carving and rich cream color with brown flecks. There is some slight damage; one small chip on her head covering and one small chip on the base, things that might be expected on a piece wirh some age. This is substantially weighted and will be packed carefully. Measures 8.5 inches with 2 inch base.
