Vintage, Mount Saint Helen’s Ashware Madonna Figurine
Vintage, Mount Saint Helen’s Ashware Madonna figurine. Made from ash directly following the May 1980 eruption, the color comes from mixing the ash directly into the ceramic clay before it’s fired. These are made by Cougar Ceramics, in Cougar Washington and is signed with the artists initials, LD. This stands 9 inches tall, there are no chips or cracks. There are lines that can be seen on the base and parts of her body, but they are sealed in under the glaze and are from manufacturing.
