Vintage, Lomonosov Porcelain Chipmunks

Vintage, pair of Lomonosov porcelain chipmunks. Made in the USSR by sculptor P. Veselov and hand painted by V. Zhbanov. These molds were first made in 1971, but based on the import sticker, these were most likely made in the 1980’s. The sticker indicates these were sent to a shop in Sitka, Alaska, that was known for importing high quality products directly from Russian artisans. These stand approximately one and a half inches tall and one and a quarter inches tall. The smaller of the two has a small flea bite on his left ear, it can be seen in the last photo. There are no other chips or cracks. The import sticker is taped on, that’s how I acquired it, so I’m leaving it as found.
