Hello! I’m so excited to be part of this network! My name is Ruth Guajardo and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am not new at selling, my husband and partner, have owned a gift shop and gallery since 2001 called El Sol Studios. We are both Artists and makers, and of course collectors. We have However downsized and partnered with my BFF who also owned a shop as long as me and went in together instead and opened a space that holds both stores (Pulquerios/El Sol Studios. We have always had an insatiable interest in Vintage and unique finds, but our focus had been in Mexican Folk art, handmade and cultural gifts, jewelry and more, until recently. We just started adding a lot more Vintage, unique, quirky finds and we are just thrilled to join the fun online! I hope you like the treasures we offer, whether vintage or handmade by us. Vintage Hand-Carved Water Buffalo Horn Crain Heron feeding its Young figurine
This is a vintage hand-carved water buffalo horn sculpture of a mother and baby heron or crane. The sculpture depicts a mother bird feeding its baby. This Mid-Century Modern sculpture stands approximately 10 1/2 inches tall and is in excellent vintage condition. There is a horizontal line cut across the baby’s back (pictured) but that’s the nature of the materials used. Please view all of the photos for overall condition. I try to describe my items as much as possible and photos are a big part or the description, including measurements not included in description.
