Hello! I’m so excited to be part of this network! My name is Ruth Guajardo and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am not new at selling, my husband and partner, have owned a gift shop and gallery since 2001 called El Sol Studios. We are both Artists and makers, and of course collectors. We have However downsized and partnered with my BFF who also owned a shop as long as me and went in together instead and opened a space that holds both stores (Pulquerios/El Sol Studios. We have always had an insatiable interest in Vintage and unique finds, but our focus had been in Mexican Folk art, handmade and cultural gifts, jewelry and more, until recently. Murano Bullicante Art Glass Apple Controlled Bubbles Applied leaf And Stem VTG Hand made
This listing is for this very Large vintage Murano art glass Apple. It is a heavy hand-blown glass apple paperweight featuring an internal red core with controlled bubbles and an applied green glass leaf and stem. It measures 6” tall by 4” wide and weighs almost 4lbs. It is in excellent vintage condition. There seems to be some “cloudiness “ on the inside hollow core, but it’s consistent with age. No nicks or cracks. This hand-blown red glass piece was crafted in Italy during the mid-20th century featuring the bullicante technique or controlled bubbles. It is a fun and beautiful sample of the Murano glass style and craftsmanship. Please view all of the photos for overall condition. I try to describe my items as much as possible and photos are a big part or the description, including measurements not included in description.
