• Hand painted, glazed, decorated
• "Apple" pattern, discontinued
• Designed by Mary Jane Winnhams
• Produced 1940 - 1984 in the US
- Franciscan Pottery was purchased by Wedgwood & production moved to England in 1984 - 2000. In 2000, production was again moved to China
• Black stamp on back of saucers:
- "FRANCISCAN, MADE IN CALIFORNIA U.S.A., HAND DECORATED, GLADDING MCBEAN & CO, OVEN SAFE"
• Mark used 1953 - 1958
