• Gold & white moriage, slip trail, beading & accents

• Scalloped, scrolled, decorated base, with wide, bisque foot ring

• 18th century, Meissen, Rocco, Pastoral "Courtship" style

• This specific mold, and variations of it, was produced by several prominent European manufacturers, such as Rudolstadt, and Meissen in Germany.

• Produced approx 1940's - 1950's, as Mid-Century exports from Japan, Occupied Japan, and frequently converted into decorative table lamps.

• The Boy is depicted wearing a light bluish gray suit, and feathered hat, which sits atop his thick, curly, blonde hair.

He's wearing a light blue cloak, lined with pink, that drapes over his shoulders, with a cream-colored jabot tie.

His olive green knickers feature a vertical panel of light pink fabric, adorned with flowers. Gold fleur de lis design on shirt, and gold trim accentuate his outfit.

At his sister's protests with her right hand, he holds back his dog, which is lunging and barking at a lamb, cradled under her left arm.

The sister wears a pink floral hat that compliments her curly, blonde hair, which is pulled up, exposing her neck and shoulders.

Her olive green bodice is trimmed with pink ruffles, and has puffy, soft yellow sleeves. The light yellow skirt is decorated with flowers, and trimmed with pink ruffles.

Gold accents on her outfit reflect those on her brother's attire, creating a sense of unity between the two figures.
