Promotional coin bank made by Banthrico in the mid-20th century. Banthrico Inc., a famous Chicago-based company known for making die-cast metal promotional and advertising banks for banks, conventions, and businesses starting in the 1930s. Shaped like a classic Mississippi-style river paddle steamboat with twin dual smokestacks and detailed cabin structures. Cast in metal with a copper-clad finish. Stamped with “Family?” Federal Savings & Loan Association. The Bank details are fading. Nice copper patina. Good condition. 7” x 2 ½” x 4”
