Blackware Pottery Jar Crafted By Flora And Glenda Naranjo

Traditional Native American blackware pottery jar crafted by the acclaimed master potter Flora Naranjo (1914–2000) in collaboration with her daughter, Glenda. From the Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico. The jar features the iconic Southwestern matte-on-polished finish. The clay is hand-built using traditional coil methods, meticulously scraped, and stone-burnished to achieve a mirror-like shine before firing. The design features geometric matte elements, highlighting traditional Pueblo symbols like kiva steps and triangular mountain steps near the neck line. Couple very small dings in the body. Very good condition. 4 ½” x 4 ½”
