Pristine Vintage 1970s Avon Hostess Set 8 1/2” Ceramic Christmas Tree Tea/Votive

These 8.5" Tall Glazed Ceramic Christmas Trees were manufactured in 1979 by Weiss Ceramics Company in Brazil exclusively for the Avon Gift Collection as part of their Merry Christmas Hostess Set. The trees were designed to hold a votive, tea light candle or scent beads that are placed in the bottom well. The light from the candle "lights" the tree by shining through small holes placed throughout the ceramic branches. Original Hostess Set Came With A Doll And Teddy Bear Salt And Pepper Shakers. This is for the Christmas Tree Only. Small Holes in Tree Luminates Candle Light. Does not come with Plastic Colored Bulbs For Tree Holes. Hobby Lobby Sells Replacement Plastic Lights That should Fit this Tree. Original Tree Did Not Have Plastic Lights. Recommend Using Tea Light Only If you Wish To Use With A Candle. A votive is probably too large and will significantly heat up the tree. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Pristine condition.
