Moritz Zdekauer Vintage Creamer Hand Painted Purple Flowers Austria Signed
Moritz Zdekauer porcelain refers to the porcelain wares produced by a factory in Altrohlau, Austria (now Stara Role, Czech Republic) during the period when it was owned and managed by Moritz Zdekauer. Here's a timeline of the factory and its association with Moritz Zdekauer: 1810s: The factory began as a faience and earthenware factory started by Benedikt Hasslacher. 1823: August Nowotny & Co. acquired the factory and later started producing porcelain. 1884: Moritz Zdekauer purchased the company. 1884-1909: During this period, the porcelain produced at the factory was marked "MZ Austria". The company extensively exported its products to North and South America, as well as the Dutch colonies. 1909: C.M. Hutschenreuther acquired the firm, and the mark was changed to "MZ Altrolau". It is in excellent condition and signed by M.Peal 4”x 3.5”
