Lesley McInally Studio Pottery (Scotland) Footed Candle Plate/Trinket Dish, Aqua

This Lesley McInally Ceramics studio footed dish is handmade and originated in Scotland. The piece has curved corners and could be used as a candle holder or as a trinket dish. It would also work well as a serving tray for small appetizers or candies. The piece features a repeating, embossed flower design, with three of them differentiated by clear crackled glaze. The primary color is a deep aqua that gives way to a soft mint and then a warm cream. The flower motif continues on the bottom of the dish, with a complete flower attached to a corner and impressed flowers on each foot of the pedestal. The plate is in a soft square measuring 5 inches on each side, with a total 1.9 inches in height. The original sticker from the artist remains on the underside. The piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
