Vintage (60s) Fenton Silver Crest Candy/Bon Bon Dish with Handle, Ruffled, #7498

This vintage Fenton Silver Crest Bon Bon Dish with Handle is a round, ruffled serving dish made of white milk glass with a clear glass edge. Originating from Williamstown, West Virginia in 1966, this mid-century modern piece features a glossy finish and a metal handle. Fenton made this line from 1942-1986; this piece pre-dates the use of the impressed logo that began in the early 1970s, therefore I have dated it back to the 1960s (although it could be older). It is a substantial piece, weighing well over 1 pound. It is 8.25 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall. The bon bon dish is in excellent used condition. There are no chips or cracks - the glass is pristine. There is some normal wear on the metal handle appropriate for the use and age of the piece.
