Lamberton Ivory China Linda Lee Sugar Bowl with Lid Floral Gold Trim American
This beautiful, vintage double-handled sugar bowl with lid in ivory (Lamberton's signature tone) with a multicolor floral pattern and gold trim sits on a pedestal base. The floral detail is the same on both sides. The Lamberton Works of Trenton, NJ, produced ceramics from 1869 to 1955 – as Lamberton Works (1869-1892), the Maddock Pottery Company (1893 to 1923), and as Scammell China Company (1923 to 1955). In 1939, Scammell introduced Lamberton China, a fine translucent product for home use: this sugar bowl is one of those pieces.
