Johann Haviland Bavaria Germany Moss Rose Covered Vegetable Gold Trim Scalloped
Elegant is the word that describes this covered vegetable dish in "Moss Rose" but that is to be expected with its Johann Haviland pedigree (with the crown logo). Made in Bavaria in white porcelain, the pattern features garlands of pink roses with green leaves all wrapped up in gold gilded edges on the plate and lid. The base features dual handles for easy, safe handling and scalloped edges for beauty. It is topped off with a shaped lid with a sculpted, gold topped finial. The pattern is now discontinued. Measurements: 11 1/2" long side to side including handles, 7 1/4" tall base to top of finial, 8" wide, Base - 5 1/2" in diameter at rim, 3" deep Good Condition: one chip on underside of lid. No cracks or crazing.
