Hand Painted Porcelain Shell Shaped Dish 1920's to 1930's Signed
The green underglaze backstamp shown belongs to the Porzellanfabrik Tirschenreuth (P.T.) factory located in Tirschenreuth, Bavaria, Germany, founded in 1838. This specific green mark featuring a crown over a shield with the letters "P.T." and "Maria" was utilized during the mid-20th century (circa 1927–1954). This specific version of the green backstamp was used from around 1903 into the 1920s or 1930s. Manufacturer: Porzellanfabrik Tirschenreuth (P.T.)Origin: Bavaria, Hand painted and artist signed, see the picture (artist H Krott): This is an antique hand-painted Bavarian porcelain piece by Tirschenreuth, featuring a delicate floral motif signed by the artist H. Krott. Excellent condition and a real keeper. Approximately 12 inches across, this is an exceptional piece, and has great autumn colors.
