Hand painted, metal, Rooster of Barcelos. Made in Barcelos, Portugal, these are known as a sign of good luck. Local 15th century legend states that a crowing rooster saved the life of an innocent man. This stands approximately 2 and a half inches tall. There is a small paint chip on the bottom that can be seen in the last photo.
