• Round, with applied, stylized floral, bilateral handles, & foot ring

• Hand painted, glazed, decorated

• Maroon red, blue & green floral design, on white background

• Art Nouveau, Victorian style

   - "DEANS 1910 Ltd BURSLEM HAND PAINTED"

• Red script on base: "1540"

• Produced approx 1910 - 1919

   - Earthenware manufacturer at the Newport pottery, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England

   - The previous company of S W Dean went into liquidation in 1910 and in June 1910 Samuel Webster Dean was declared bankrupt.

   - A new company was registered (by others) as Deans (1910) Ltd.

   - In operation 1910 - 1919
