Beautifully preserved Victorian-era pocket Bible dating to 1875. This charming small-format Holy Bible measures approximately 6" x 4" and features a richly embossed brown leather cover with intricate geometric and decorative patterns. The spine is dark brown with gold-stamped "HOLY BIBLE" lettering and decorative bands.
Notable inscription on the front endpaper reads: "Mary J. Mossman / Marion Co. / Marion / Ohio / July the 21 / 1875" — a wonderful direct link to 19th-century Ohio history.
