Charming vintage mid-century Japanese porcelain trinket or keepsake box featuring a hand-painted courting couple figurine on the lid. The man wears a green jacket and blue pants while the woman sits beside him in a pink and purple dress. The rectangular box has soft pinkish-gray sides with gold gilt trim, ornate scrollwork, and a central heart motif on the front. Gold detailing also accents the white lid. Marked “MADE IN JAPAN” on the bottom. Perfect size for rings, small jewelry, or sentimental keepsakes. A sweet romantic accent for a vanity, dresser, or curio cabinet.
