1940s-Made in Japan-Porcelain Orange Juicer/Reamer For a Child-w/ Anthropomorphic Puppy
This is absolutely darling. You don't run across these too often. I love that the reamer is cold painted blue, pink, white & yellow. It fits upon a 2 handled cup w/ a raised puppy holding a banner stating "ORANGE JUICE". He is also cold painted. All of the cold paint is intact. The background is a light blue. Makers mark is stamped on bottom "Made in Japan" and there is a circle with 15/476 (?) within it. It is in great vintage condition considering that it had been an utilitarian kitchen tool. There are no chips, cracks or call outs. It does have minimal crazing. I would not leave it stand in water as the crazing will be accentuated. there are 2 pieces. It measures approx 4 1/2"H, 3 1/2" diameter rim to rim, end of handle to end of handle 5", Base diameter 3 1/4", 10.4 Oz
