WINSTON Leatherware Tapestry Clutch Wallet, Vintage 1960s, Original Box NOS RARE

This is a RARE FIND!!! A Vintage, Colorful, 1950s, WINSTON Fine Leatherware Floral Tapestry, Clutch Wallet, in Original Box- NOS!! It is in NEW, it was never used-all original paperwork, cards, box, etc. Even the original price tab is still attached!! There is even a cardboard 'card' stating it's a 'Convenient Place For Your CHARGE PLATE'!! That's amazing considering they haven't used, 'charge plates' since the 1950s! Here's some 'charge/Charga-plate' history for those going, 'Huh?' lol I even added 2 pics (last 2 pics) to show what they looked like. (not included with wallet lol) 'The Charga-Plate bookkeeping system, a precursor of the credit card issued by Charga-Plate Group, Inc. New York, was utilized from 1935 to 1950, and somewhat later. It was a 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" rectangle of sheet metal, similar to a military dog tag, that was embossed with the customer's name, city and state [with or in some cases without a street address]. It held a small paper card for a signature. It was laid in the imprinter first, then a charge slip on top of it, onto which an inked ribbon was pressed.' ~~~~~~~ In GREAT COND-New Old Stock.
