Whimsical Hillbilly Horse Figurine
Hand-modeled ceramic Hillbilly horse in a recumbent pose, decorated in a hand-painted brown, pink and white pinto pattern with black hooves and blue dot eyes. Lovable face! The naïve form and warm glaze are characteristic of mid-century Italian folk ceramics produced for decorative export. The underside bears hand-painted with artist’s signature. The piece displays light crazing appropriate to age and use.
