This is a vintage Tonalá Mexican pottery owl with a warm burnished finish and hand‑painted folk‑art details in the classic Jalisco style. The form is rounded and expressive, with traditional feather motifs and the earthy tonal palette characteristic of Tonalá work. Signed “MEX” on the base. Measures approximately 5 inches tall. A charming piece of mid‑century Mexican folk pottery and a lovely accent for rustic or handcrafted décor. GOOD pre‑owned condition with one chip on the back of the rear foot (not visible when displayed). No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Light surface wear consistent with age. SEE PHOTOS.
