I'm a retired teacher trying to clean out my house of all the stuff accumulated from four generations of my family. My goal in life is to not leave a mess for my family to clean up after I die! I've sold on other platforms for a few years now, but after watching Joselyn's videos I decided to try NikNax. I love to see thrifting videos since I've always shopped at thrift stores, passing on that love to my daughter. I also love to see what others have to sell and have been known to buy some things that I just can't pass up, of course adding to more "stuff." All of my items come from a smoke-free home. We have one cat that I try to keep away from things that I'm selling, especially clothing or other items that could collect cat dander.

VTG Puss-in-Boots ~ Haukies ~ Duenewald Printing Corp. ~ Four-fold Animated
My niece found this among her stored possessions at our family home (pet and smoke free) after my father passed. It may have belonged to her grandmother who was a teacher. There is a sticker on the cover, as well as a penciled number which indicates it may have been used in a classroom (see picture). I'm not an expert on types of printing, but the back page indicates it is lithographed. It is a four fold card stock weight paper with a string around the "binding." It appears it may have been a large greeting card at the time it was printed (1950). There are missing pieces and, from my research, it appears the inside left page should have had some other pieces included. You can see the flaps where these articles may have been tucked in. The flaps have some rips that you should be able to see in the picture. The inside right side has an animated Puss. See the video to see how he moves by the tab. The video is a bit clunky because I was holding my phone in one hand while moving the cat with my other hand. The pieces of the cat are intact but there is part that could tear easily that controls the boot. It could be fixed with a piece of tape but I don't consider myself enough of an ephemera expert to try to fix it. Overall, in addition to the tears on the inside left page, there is typical wear of an older paper item with some discoloration, minor smudging and minor edge wear.
