Vtg. Gorham Porcelain Rocking Horse & Boy Music Box, "It's a Small World", Rocks

This is a vintage Gorham porcelain Little Boy on Rocking Horse Music Box from the Life is a Happy Adventure line. The piece was made in 1984 and at that time, Gorham was a division of Lenox and was manufacturing in Providence, Rhode Island. The rocking music box features a little boy holding his teddy bear while riding a rocking horse and plays the iconic tune "It's a Small World." This music box figurine is hand-painted and measures 4.5 inches in length, 4.75 inches in height, and 2.4 inches in width, weighing just over 9 ounces. The unique feature of this collectible is that it rocks while the music plays, adding an element of charm and nostalgia to any decor. This would be a lovely piece for a baby's/boys room and ultimately a delightful addition to any music box or decorative collectibles collection. The music box is in excellent condition.
