Meet Your Seller
Hi everyone! My name is Liz, and I started watching CLL (and other reseller) videos during the pandemic, and became hooked! I started in 2022 with a few online auctions and graduated to thrift stores, and listed a few things for resale to test the waters. In late summer 2023 I decided to start ramping up and working the biz every day, and started a YouTube channel in late 2023! Just mostly having fun right now and soaking in everyone's knowledge, and learning a TON! By day I work in marketing communications for a small supplement company. For fun I do nature photography and a variety of crafts (when time allows). I love being outdoors in nature, and I apparently also love the treasure hunt aspect of visiting thrift stores! I've found some really cool things so far, and I can't wait to share some of them here with you all! :-) If you are new to District, you can use my code, "LIZAR8" for $5 off your first Buy It Now OR Auction purchase of $10 or more, anywhere on Niknax! Thanks for stopping by!

BIN - Vintage “You Can Do It” Turtle Jogger By aLe Peru 3.5”
Authentic vintage 1980s hand-carved ceramic turtle figurine from the highly collectible "They Can Do It" collection by Maribel Posso Olivares' aLe line (Peru). This whimsical, anthropomorphic character captures the sporty theme of the line, crafted from a natural tan earthenware clay body finished with a dark olive-green painted wash. The figure features deeply incised, bumpy texturing mimicking realistic reptile skin. He is outfitted in a glossy, vibrant yellow enamel unitard tank top hand-labeled with the word "Jogger" across the chest, complete with a contrasting smooth brown enamel sweatband wrapped around his head. The jogger turtle is meant to represent physical push and momentum.
Measures 2.25” x 1.75” x 3.5”. Very good condition. Some fading to green wash on nose and in a couple other spots
