Vintage Wax Ornament Cast From Antique German Mold | Winter Elopement c1865

3.25"x4". Listing is for a vintage ornament of an ornately framed nativity scene. Ornament was cast in quality melt resistant bees wax and hand painted by artist Clare Brackett Morison in the 70-80’s. Has small rope loop for hanging. Ornament was cast from a genuine German antique gingerbread mold, this mold in particular from c. 1685. Please see photos for description about particular design & history of the mold! In great condition. Paint is still bright & colorful. Comes with box for storage and little info pamphlet.
