Vintage Vincent Pogacar (1929-1997) Framed Oil Painting Seascape Ocean Waves Tonalism 18x22"
Oil painting by Vincent Pogacar, signed. Painting is in overall great condition, but does have a couple of faint scratches towards the top of the canvas. No signs of cracking or fading. Painting is not original to the frame. Was not professionally framed, canvas is held in by an angled nail on all sides. This does not hold canvas flush to frame & reveals a gap towards the top (when holding frame), but once hung, any gap disappears. Frame is in overall good condition, with obvious modifications made by a previous owner. Original frame backing was removed. The linen frame liner has been painted white (appears to have originally been a tan color), with some of the original color peeking through. The white paint is also evidenced on the gold frame which borders the linen liner. The frame has a few minor dings about. Canvas measures 12 x 16 inches Frame measures 18 x 22 inches
