8" x 2.5" This exquisite vintage Japanese candy dish by Tashiro Shoten is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The black clay dish features a glossy finish and intricate hand-painted floral and butterfly designs, making it a unique addition to any collection. Measuring 8 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches in height, it has one compartment and a round shape. The candy dish was produced between 1940-1969 and has an original vintage finish. It bears a painted backstamp and is handmade, adding to its uniqueness. The material used is clay and the piece comes from Japan There are a few glazing imperfections and a small chip on the underside as shown in the last pictures. Given its age, it’s still in nice condition
