Vintage Stövchen Art Glass Hexagon Warming Trivet Candle Holder
I absolutely love heavy (3.5lbs!) CHONKY glass, especially with an "ice glass" textured finish. This is such a neat piece. It measures 5 to 5.5" across and about 2.5" tall. It's meant to hold a tealight to keep your coffee/tea/plate warm. Or use it as a decorative art glass candle holder. Pretty sure I wouldn't put my coffee much on it because I'd like burn myself. I'm good at that sort of thing. Likely made in the 70s/80s. I could speculate on the artist/designer and country of origin, but it would be purely speculation. Take a look through the pics. There are no cracks or chips, but I did point out some surface abrasions. The pics with the white arrows show abrasions on the top, while the pics with white circles show abrasions on the bottom. I believe this is actually crystal due to the weight, "ring" and clarity/sparkle.
