Vintage Steiff Walt Disney Perri Squirrel Mohair 4" Plush, All Tags & Button!
This is an adorable, vintage Steiff, Walt Disney Productions, Perri the Squirrel, Mohair, 4" Plush with Original Chest Tag & Original Ear Button and Tag!! This is the smallest size Perri they made! She is just over 4" high and approx. 5 1/4" Tip of nose to the tip of her tail. She is in amazing condition for her advanced age of over 70 years! Her body is made from tones of tans, brown and rust colored short mohair and her tail is made from a longer rust-brown mohair. Perri's hands and feet are made from double thick tan felt and are intact as are her black eyes and her mono filament whiskers! Perri was inspired by a Walt Disney documentary entitled "True Life Adventures". This film, released in 1957, "starred" a squirrel named Perri who faced many challenges and adventures. * Please see all pics, as they are part of the description.
