Vintage Soapstone Mini Hand-Carved Bear, Brown, Canada/Inuit?, 2" x 1.25"

This vintage soapstone mini hand-carved bear figurine is beautifully crafted in a marbled brown. Based on my research, I believe it originated in Canada or with the Inuit people. Measuring 2 inches in length and 1.25 inches in height, this small bear is walking on all fours with an open mouth. It weighs 2.5 ounces and has a glossy finish. The figurine is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. If you purchase more than one item, I am happy to combine shipping to save postage cost.
