Has rustic charm. They were typically hung by a fireplace or the cook stove to help keep the salt dry and non clumping. Is in vintage condition-I feel it adds to its character. Is intact, Lid is fastened securely. Base may be slightly warped-again r/t its age. Painted details are charming. Hole at top for hanging, or you may set on flat surface. Great Vignette filler.
